Khartoum, Nov. 25 (SUNA)- The First Vice-President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Sunday chaired at the Republican Palace the first meeting of the Political Coordinating Committee of the Constitution that emanated from the Higher Committee for formulation of the Constitution which was formed by President of the Republic last month.
The Vice-President of the Republic, Dr. Al-Haj Adam, said that the objective of the committee is to politically coordinate between the
Presidency and the Higher Committee for the Constitution and to carry out contacts with the other political forces which did not join the constitution formulation process.
He stated in a statement to SUNA that the meeting has set up two sub-committees, explaining that the Political Coordinating Committee will hold a meeting in coming days with the Constitution's Higher Committee to review its achievements in the past period.
